I ordered a WASD code keyboard with clear switches (supposedly made for typing)
I didn't like it at all, it keyboard was solid and nice but the key press was chinsy and high-picthed. I also thought the keypress travel was too deep. It reminded me of a cheap PC from the 90's. I had an apple extended ii keyboard and it felt alot better than this.
Now I'm looking into the poker ii and other key switches like mx Browns with o-rings, or Topre and Matias brands. Apparently the Matias is similar to the apple extended keyboard. More of a thud than a click.
This is a very niche hobby and its totally stupid. I don't know why im obsessing over this. Oh yeah its because of images like this:
