A little perspective on the good ol' "I hope they don't ruin my childhood" or "I hope they don't ruin the original" attitude.
The original movie, will OUT-LIVE your existence on this planet just as you remembered. In fact, it will most likely OUT-LIVE the existence of the children of the children of your children and beyond, all in it's original state.
Even if they cast Vin Diesel, the chick from Legally Blonde and Kanye West to do the soundtrack, it will still be untouched, cause guess what?
It will be a different movie.
