monospaced helped with the Adobe Illustrator Java issue, thanks bro!
But I am also having minor issues with the entire OS X Yosemite UI functionality. Everything from trying to "secure empty trash" to strange anomalies with the UI.
Hopefully Apple will fix these issues soon.
