Everything always points to that moment of rebellion. That breaking point where the people stand up against a system they can finally see as their oppressor. I empathize deeply with those feelings of powerlessness, frustration and anguish against what seems to be an obvious system of increasing power and control, but I have given this a lot of thought and can't get past a certain point in my thinking...
Let's just say that fight does happen. Let's say that fight takes place in the streets and shots are fired and bodies on both sides drop. Let's even say 'the people' win that fight. Let's say the oppressive system backs down and now we stand there, totally free, totally independent, but with dead & injured bodies and flaming buildings all around us.
My question is this: Then what? Honestly, though... And with ALL due respect: Then what?
