Yea I am going to pick up a d700 as a second body I think because my bro-in-law has a ton of lenses to lend me.
Since it is only 12mp I was afraid I would run in to problems if I ever wanted to print. Especially since I see my print shop has requirements such as, (20"x24" print must be at 6000x72000) well the d700 cant even make photos that big not even at 220dpi so WTH?
After talking to the owner of the shop she said with landscapes can be printed at way lower resolution and still come out OK. But she did not recommend it for portraits. so I guess there is a trade off. :-(
And if I crop then I'm really screwed...
- D700 is a gem, I have a D610, but know people who are keeping their D700's forevervaxorcist
