    Isn't this sort of act ultimately going to be the cause of their demise in the longer run though?

    I mean as far as propaganda goes at the very least.

    They were on the verge of negotiating this pilots freedom with Jordan and killed him anyway, in the most vile way.

    It just sends a very clear message that there's absolutely no point in engaging with them on a diplomatic level, there's only one way we're going to get rid of them...
