Blundering back at 5am yesterday, I made the mistake of ordering a shitty chicken doner from the sort of place that is open at that time of day.
It's been a while since I've had a 'normal' shit-quality doner, and it made me remember why kebabs typically have a terrible reputation with most people.
Real doners from real restaurants are fucking excellent.
Shit doners from shit takeaways are indeed 'By-product "meat" touched up to be passable though rounds of chemical processing' :\
