    This is cool... I was digging through my files on my backup drive looking for a logo used in a project last year. I couldn't find the logo anywhere in any folders... but for some reason a PSD showed up in the Spotlight search for the logo company name. The actual name of the PSD was 'header2014.psd'... but there's a layer in the file labeled w/the logo's name (which just happens to be a placed smartObject (vector!!!) of the logo)......

    ... Spotlight indexes PSD layer names?! Rad.
