Interior Secretary of Germany: »Attacks had nothing to do with Islam«...
I welcome his good intentions of protecting the vast majority of peaceful, well meaning muslim citizens in Germany from wrongful accusations... but at the same time I feel he is brushing issues under the carpet... Well, you cannot overlook that these attacks HAD SOMETHING TO DO with Islam.
It’s the same thing as saying »The Inquisition had nothing to do with Christianity«. It had. Certainly not with the writings. Or the teaching of Jesus. But with the practice at that time.
And this is what we have to address and discuss openly. But if all discussions are held under the strict rules of "political correctness", there can’t be any meaningful results.
I am slowly turning from a social democrat / green party voter into a Marxist as I see Religion, Nationalism, Militarism and Capitalism turning the world into a fucking hellhole for all of us.
