one questine: why do you want to stream video from your computer exactly? wouldn't a USB port together with an external HDD be way easier? All boxes have netflix & co integrated

    • can TVs just start playing anything from a HD connected by USB?monospaced
    • maybe his tv hasn't got usb yet, most of them suck anyways playing "no vacation video" contentmekk
    • Why not? Centrally located, multiple devices at once and the bandwidth of a local network.ETM
    • Less bringing laptop around. And less cables would be nice.pango
    • I understand that but with an ext. HDD and the functions of those boxes you don't need to stream from computer at allmekk
    • and you would have to move the HD every time you had to add something to it?monospaced
    • that's why I do have a NAS. I think storing content on the actual machine is outdated. Cloud, External HDD or NAS it is. My computers do not have more than 512GB of spacemekk
    • is. My computers do not have more than 512 gigs of storage in themmekk
