    Lossless is best, skip compression and let the videographer deal with it.

    "I have to animate a logo..." that's pretty ambiguous. What do you have to animate? Fade in? Spinning? Masking?? 3D?

    You should be getting client approvals on all the previz comps. If you haven't, then I'll assume there is no budget and you are just accommodating the client. If that's the case, then fading is fine (keeps it clean and minimal, better than doing something poorly and full of cheese).

    But if that's the case, the videographer can do it in a few minutes while he's editing the video, just give him some direction (size, etc.). Make some mockups and call it a day.
