    Really? I find it bland, generic and corporate. Though at the same time, it works, and is exactly why I like Google's web apps. Simple. No fuss.

    My eyes just don't see anything new or refreshing. Just simplification. And a design style that we've seen for decades. It's not really worthy of praise, or criticism... kinda like Ikea furniture or a well working toaster.

    Also - every time a company does a shift in design or anything design related for that matter, there's this innate need for people to bring up Apple and shoot off a round. Why? The world is obsessed with that damn company and salivating at their downfall. Enough already.
