Ok, maybe it is me. I always thought I was careful with the wire that goes into the brick, but the wire finally seems to split. The last charger I made sure to wind carefully and not put stress on the join but 1.5 yrs in and the cable has split again.
It is obviously a problem for other people too as there are a number of posts on apple about it, and a number of products produced to try and reinforce this connection.
- Its not you - its bad design and part of business model. parts like this should never break unless treated badly.fadein11
