The Dyson looks really good, but $1250 is just too much for my budget. They've not launched yet, and I'll be surprised if they'll ever be able to make a lower costing version. I have an iRobot 750 at the time was around $700, one generation before the current offerings. It's great when you need to clean a room. I love how I could just turn the on button, close the door and come back to a fully clean room. Great time saver. I just wish it wasn't so noisy otherwise i'd run it more often. You could always schedule cleanings for when you are away to avoid this. Cleaning its bristles is annoying, but the newer ones are bristle-less using Tangle-Free AeroForce™ Extractors which uses an alternative rubber treading. A robot vacuum was a great addition to our lifestyle.
