I know in an ideal world...no guns would be great... but this isnt an ideal world.
You take away the guns from the people and who ends up with them.. the criminals and people who really want to hurt somebody.
There for pretty much you are shit out of luck for defending yourself. And I know alot of people whose life have been saved by having a gun and playing defense as the Robber or car jacker trying to take your life.
Pretty much there is no real good answer other than to NOT stamp on the rights of the people. It still comes down to... If you are going to Kill somebody trying to take away guns isnt going to help.
