Without making any excuses for anyone or any particular recent tragedy, but...
Cops make the most money with overtime. Is their an epidemic of overly worked, overly stressed, and under trained cops that result in these poor decisions by some individuals?
Really, all western society is over worked and over stressed, but the average person doesn;t get into the situations cops do.
