    thanks for the opinions...I have actually spent the past hour looking at each of the top 100 US companies websites...

    very few use flash...maybe 1 in 15
    and it is primarily used just for promo or animated logo...

    suprisingly...GM has an all flash version of the homepage...

    for example..I have been reading articles on the various 2003 beta macromedia websites...if you all remember that flash area...it went from a rich information area to an animated banner/promo spot

    as far as I know...there exist very few companies doing what macromedia attempted to do in the earlier betas...
