No we can't agree.
Those that have a religion would explain it as god speaking through the scribes. Like being possessed.

- Ape, I think you are trying to fit modern explanations of god to ancient experiences. Christianity, Judaism, Islam etc are not the first beliefs by any stretch of the imagination. They are not eve the first organised religions but a jumble of many different influences. The earliest spiritual beliefs were tens of thousands of years before those and were probably explanations used by pre homo-sapiens.Morning_star
