    When many in Israel claim that criticism directed towards them is purely based on anti-semitism, its much like the U.S war on terror slogan of "they hate us for our freedoms". In my opinion, it's a means to justify and dismiss the brutality being inflicted upon civilians, which happens to be what most people are offended by.
