  no they didn't attack.

  israel told everybody beforehand that they would enforce the blockade, days ahead of the incident, many times over. they warned them.

  activists decided to try to break the blockade anyway. they knew israeli military wouldn't let them through.

  when israeli commandos tried to board the ships they were attacked by militants, couple of people shot in self-defence.

  so, this wasn't an israeli attack, this was an anti-israeli provocation with the expected result. militants asked for it, got their wish. same old.
