Finding a specific glyph?

    Every character in Unicode has an assigned name. Open your Character Viewer and type "hexagon" into the search at the top right:


    WHITE HEXAGON
    Unicode: U+2B21, UTF-8: E2 AC A1

    Click on the white hexagon and it will show you each Font Variation on your system (lower right corner). Click them one at a time and the space above will show it enlarged, with the source font below.

    On my computer I have White Hexagon in STIXGeneral Regular, and – of course – Apple Symbols.
