what's worst is their phone representative system. Firstly the annoying eBay music makes you want to strangle yourself while you're waiting, once you get past their "press 1-then 2-1- 11101-45654- 4-6- #" . Then the automated voice system keeps your listening skills at attention by asking you "could-be-important" questions while you're waiting.
Once you do get someone. They give you a person who can only do simple customer service tasks. You explain a long winded story which they cannot help you, because they have no experience, and limited access to any of your records. So they forward you to the "upper phone person" who basically treats you like a retard, because they deal with so many past retards, why would you be any different? They're trained to shut you down. Not to "help" you.
The best customer service you will always get is from AAA. I have no idea why, but they are so freaking good. You get a flat, a dead battery, keys lost in your car, they are there within the hour. They connect with you three times to make sure you are happy, safe and secured!!! However eBay customer service will easily turn their back on you if do not play by their rules. Human robots who cannot handle anything outside of their programming. Seems to be the way of the big corporation.
