How much does a car cost? I see dealers charging $40,000 for the same model that costs $25,000 with less options.
How much does a house cost? I see them charging like $500,000 to build a house just like the one across the street. I mean, they know how to build it and already have the plans, so why so much?
Okay, the analogy breaks down a bit, but size, scope, options. We understand how to price tangible things, but so many people still can't grasp something less tangible like websites. But when you ask a generic question like how much a WP site costs with no specifics or scope, it sounds just as silly.
