    Recently after too much flying, client entertaining, 2 kids and all that, I cut out bread, pasta and rice (their derivatives crisps etc) as well as beer. I don't get too much time to exercise, I play tennis twice a week and walk to work, but I lost 2 stone (28 pounds) in the month I've been doing it. On the whole it's been pretty easy, I miss pizza and beer, but I look better in a pair of shorts and I have a lot more energy.

    Gone from 210 pounds down to 180.

    I've basically lived off fruit and coffee for breakfast
    salads at lunch and meat and veg in the evening, and drink as much wine as I want instead of beer and it worked just fine

    I didn't really set out to diet as such, but just reverse a trend. I now realise just how much bread I used to eat. toast in the morning, sandwiches and a burgers... That alone has made the difference I think.

    I may just keep going and start to do a few weights etc.
