They are making lenses for it and have a list of ones coming out. Right now, there is nothing fast enough for me, but the glass is quality (Zeiss).
The problem, so I am told, is that the A7 is full frame. This necessitates larger glass to cover the sensor (larger than a micro 4/3 sensor), which is heavier. So the body is super light, but the glass will be heavy (that's an assumption as there isn't much out yet).
The adapter is supposed to work great, but is expensive ($400 I think). But if you already have good glass, it can help with the transition. For me, my D800 is hard to complain about, so until I see the glass for the A7 I'll wait.
Also, there's no reason that a M4/3 can't have 36mb and be a crop sensor, which would be fine with me.
