The Akashic Record - The yogis of India believed that there is a record or book that records every action, thought and emotion in a subtle substance called ‘Akashia’ (Ether). This record contains all information of the past as well as the future. This Book is called “the Akashic Record.” In the Quran this book is called “the book of Allah,” “the Mother of the Books,” “the Clear Book,” and “book that leaves out nothing, small or great.” The Akashic Record is coded under the Mystic Letters Alif, Laam, Miym (A.L.M. equates to your DNA [De-Oxy-Rib-O-Nucleic Acid], the “Book of Life”) in the Quran. Alif Laam Miym. That is the Book. Never doubt in it!” Metaphysically, the area of your personal Akashic Records is located at the Medulalla Oblongata, the Back of the Head. It is the storage place of all your past lives and the house of photographic memory. Meditation permits the initiate to access portions of the Akashic Record and thereby have true knowledge of the past and the future. One who can remember many lives is called a ‘Shaykh’ [Shiek, Sheik] (literally, “Old Man”). He is ‘Old’ in that his consciousness goes back to olden times. People who can remember all their lives are called ”Al-Khaliduwn,” the “Immortal Ones.” They are ‘Immortal’ because their consciousness does not end when their bodies return to dust.” However, Indigenous people speaks of an “incorruptible body” or becoming a “rainbow body” – one that is free of suffering and the binds of ego; one that links Earth and heaven. The process of creating the body of light is an ancient practice and has been used for thousands of years on this planet. Such ideas are still found in many traditions such as the traditional African Shamanism Spirituality, Ancient Egyptian, Hindu-Cushitic Tantra Yoga, Native American Spirituality Traditions, Hebrew Cabalistic Tradition, pre-Christian nature religions, Buddhist, Taoist, Islamic Sufi, Alchemy (both Eastern and Western), Hermetic and Gnostic “secret” traditions, Rosicrucian and Free Masonic traditions. in China the secret of enlightenment was called “the secret of immortality.” There are actually five different types of immortals – ghost immortals, human immortals, earthly immortals, celestial immortals and golden immortals, which represent different levels of self-cultivation.
