midi master clock'ing. i need to do this. in love with the ERM offering but the hilarious $300ish price tag has me lolcano'ing looking at an arduino solution right now, ie: building my own.
there are several similarly-featured arduino projects out there, not exactly a clone of the ERM, but close. i am thinking i could possibly get on together that functions the same as the ERM and even clone the look of of using a 7-segment display, etc.
i also have the monstrous, 8 midi out Yamaha QX1 sitting in my closet and although I haven't really used it (ever) i wonder if i could set it up to be a simple midi master at the top of my midi food chain, hmmm.
- thoughts? also IF i manage to make a little clone arduino box that was actually nice like the ERM...prophetone
- was thinking would be cool to make and sell to other nerds b/c there are many who lust after that ERM and the need for itprophetone
