so just to respond fully to Fadein11 and Microkorg..

The stress on the weekend was i had about 46 hours to take 25 ableton sessions, in varying states of mix and completion, fix them and export grouped stems (which often meant having to mix them again due to usually having a glue compressor on the master, but glue on a master when parts are seperated doesnt work)

then i needed to work out what parts run well together, load them all up into the octatrack, sequence all the relevant triggers and get the entire set so i could play only with the octatrack.

then go thru and collate and create a bunch of 303 patterns to feed into the octatrack inputs..

in that 46 hours i slept for about 9 and managed to only play thru the set once before taking it to the club to play for the first time, ever, using ONLY hardware.. no laptop, no DAT, no vinyl.. nothing but machines.

    • in the end i managed to pull together a 45 minute set of my own music..
