You may have some sort of static electricity issue, and it's killing the keyboard when you unplug from USB. I know I previously had some sort of weird issue with my wired keyboard before. The keyboard worked, I was just getting a quick shock whenever I initially touched it -- Because of that lil shock (not to be a pussy or anything but that shit was a pain first thing in the morning), I switched over to the wireless keyboard.

... which works great, never had any issues. You have to charge it every once in a while (I'd say about once every two months for me), but I just have a spare set of Apple rechargeable batteries that I keep charged and just swap em' out whenever it gets low, and recharge the used up set.

If you can't use the smaller version because it's missing the numpad, Belkin is coming out with it as a separate matching product which you could get alongside the smaller wireless keyboard>

    • Just get ONE full keyboard.freedom
    • Having them separate would be nice, especially when using a Wacom. You can position them all accordingly rather then having them in a fixed position.fyoucher1
    • ...them in a fixed position.fyoucher1
    • this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen done with computer peripheralsfeel
