    The answer is return on investment. Let's say the owners of this site usually charge $20/hr (obviously a super low rate, but go with it for arguments sake)
    So the fix costs them $40 of their time. What do theey get for that $40?
    Nothing. This place doesn't generate revenue. There are no ads. There's no fee for membership. All it would do is alleviate a minor annoyance for the users who come here and, monetarily, give nothing in return.
    And I seriously doubt the issue, or really any issue, will cause them concern about their "brand" or whatever nonesense.
    Do in short, yes. This party boat is adrift at sea. Instead of sacrificing Georges, we should fatten him up and restrict his mobility for when the inevitable cannibalism begins
