    Not trying to be harsh man, this is a good discussion, but how on earth do you actually believer this statement? I'm so totally confused by what you're claiming here. I use Omnigraffle to create most wireframes. It has shapes. Text. Prototyping capabilities. An open canvas. Layers. I can do 100% of what you can do in Illustrator (and then some) to lay out a web page so that it conveys the desired information architecture. I can do the same with Axure, with Balsamiq, with UXPin, with Hotgloo, with Viseo (although Viseo is total vomit).

    I think you're trying to sell up your expertise in Illustrator to prove that you don't need to consider other tools for smaller jobs. And that's totally fine depending on the level of detail needed. But your claim in the last sentence is pure nonsense.
