It's funny about the sound. If you to an F1 race in real life, when a car accelerates hard past where you're standing, it shakes your bowels something awful, and your hands involuntarily cover your ears. It is a huge, pulverizing sound.
Whatever the merits of the current engines, what comes through the TV or the radio is trifling. Like a sick mosquito coughing. So I don't feel like the engine/sounds changes make a pinch of difference.
