it was only ever a contest in yuri's mind. i'm just trying to teach the poor guy what science is. i've got no beef with religion so long as it harms none.

i personally don't care if you believe in god, or you believe you're a pirate, or you believe that rubbing your teeth with coconuts for 20 minutes a day purifies your blood. i actually find it very entertaining.

but when you interrupt my nerdy circlejerk with rants based on a gross misunderstanding of the basic fundamentals of logic i'm gonna try and set you straight. i'm a helpful guy like that.

    • Science has its limitations..yurimon
    • yes, reason is its limitation. if it's absurd it will never fly.scarabin
    • like i said before, it's not a magic 8-ball. that's the purpose of religion.scarabin
    • Considering science is exploring yoga, meditation, so it not magic in how mind body can effect each otheryurimon
    • however it can measure or explain everything. so thus its limited at the same time ancient people have explainyurimon

    • not one person in either the religion or science thread has ever claimed that science has, or even can, explain everything. we're working on it, though. and that's beautiful and has propelled mankind to previously unimaginable heights.scarabin

    • you seem to embrace it...yurimon
