So I bought my first "recreational" weed here in Denver.
The cost is very expensive with a 20% tax. Basically comes out to twice the street price. I would not be surprised if a lot of people still buy via the black market here, especially considering that apparently there is no criminal penalty for the buyer. And at the place I was buying from, they limit you to 1/8 per day.
Having said that the quality is great and it's worth it just for the novelty factor. Also, the people at the dispensary were like the nicest people I've ever met, lol. Working my way through this stash now...
