^ We all hate it because it's pretentious reality TV dribble. It was made under the assumption that they are for whatever reason "interesting". They could have done 40 days of eating in restaurants or 40 days of painting in the park, but it is 40 days of dating for a reason: to be provocative. And the reaction it provoked is this: simulating an emotionally tone-deaf dating diary gave us nothing but the impression that they want an audience, or at the very least feel that they deserve one because of where they work.
