i guess what i'm asking is if there will be distortion because "too" much sound will be coming into the mac in that tiny jack.
for instance, if i plug my guitar directly into my little computer speakers, it's bound to snap, crackle and pop rice crispies style... too much input for the little speakers. and i'm sure that if i play the inputed guitar through the PowerBook speakers i'll get similar distortion. BUT...
what i'm wondering is if that is just the nature of the output device? and it's inputed just fine?
whoa, can you tell i've been up all night? i barely make sense to myself this morning. i hope the proposal i'm preparing for work is clearer than this post.
