Finally went and picked up my gen 1 Axiom 25. First off, light studio use was misinformation. Just because they didn't use it much, it had seen its share of encounters. Covered in cat hair and dust, it also had a sticky mess on the right side. Using watered down bleach in soapy water rung out of a washcloth for the first wipe down and hot soapy water with alcohol for the next 2, I uncovered actual white keys and charcoal black plastic as opposed to the disregarded brown gray it had become. Aside from the cleaning nothing else was needed. It functions normally and all the keys / buttons work. It's beefier than anticipated too, a lot bigger than I had figured by the photos / dimensions I'd seen online. Only drawback is the clicking endless rotary knobs, so loud in comparison to my APC40 knobs.
