Don't know if it was mentioned above, but just had the same realization. Forgot my intuos at home, so found myself on a magic mouse... Result: indesign flying around like crazy. Searched around and found Magic Prefs. Using it you can customize all kinds of stuff, but all i used it for so far was to disable up/down, side/side and diagonal scrolling. No problems since. Behaves like a regular ol' mouse

- Any mouse scrolling is amplified 4X in ID, and it goes in huge chunks instead of smooth. It's stupid.monospaced
