i think the whole point of the google links is just that > pointing out how ridiculous a question that is. (quite similar to checking out 'brochure design for dummies')
only bit of serious advice i have is this:
don't look at brochure design books, etc. look at a book on tattoos, or architecture, or turkish rug patterns. do something unexpected.
