Gonna be a good Friday, and it's been a great week!
Got final confirmation today for starting a new job at Ogilvy & Mather next Thursday. I'll be freelancing until the new year, and if all goes according to plan I'll become full time after that. Will be either a UX Strategist or UX Architect (unsure of title just yet, but that's what I interviewed for). I am absolutely thrilled!
Been out of work for around 8 months, been learning a ton of new things, got www.expeditionbureau.com off the ground, published three web issues, looked for new jobs constantly, and just a couple weeks ago got in touch with Creative Circle for the first time. They got me a freelance design gig really quickly, and got me the interview at O&M. I loved it there, the office was awesome, the work seems fun, and I'm ecstatic that being patient brought me to this great opportunity.
Other than that, going to see Bad Grandpa this afternoon, and going to a party at the Burton snowboard shop tonight.
