    As far as I know, nobody has used GDDR5 for anything other than GPUs and graphics cards. So as total system memory, how it works out could be problematic or epic. Hopefully the later. The cell processor for PS3 was combining processing power (breaking down cpu/gpu walls) in ways not done before and that ended up not being taken advantage of by 95% of titles.

    • But regardless, unless MS can fix this Kinnect issue with software, they are behind in two ways.ETM
    • Lower specs and already hobbled with only 90% gpu availability.ETM
    • To add though, MS's memory choice is better suited to their all in one entertainment play, while Sony clearly is staying in the dedicated gaming category.ETM
    • the dedicated gamer space. GDDR5 is way faster, but latency is not always best for apps and the like.ETM
    • I think this will matter shit in the end, if they have good exclusives it will be a console worth gettingernexbcn
