i dont think it will work but then again i also dont think you will notice any improvement anyway (with just an extra 64mb)
i was looking to upgrade my g4 powerbook and while i was looking i noticed that g4 ibooks take a "200-pin PC2100 DDR SODIMM" (256mb £59 / 512mb £119)
might be worth forking out £60 if you need the extra
