    can't remember if we had a DJ thread, but I can't find it.

    I've been reluctant off and on to get into mixing thru either tracktor or serato, but thinking I should once again do it because it's becoming the standard for most clubs and gives you better ability to choose songs on the fly.

    Here's what I got: pioneer DJM 600, CDJ1000's, and likely a new mac book pro. Which software do you all prefer and I think I would have to have an audio interface because there aren't midi/usb outputs on my mixer or decks. What do you think my best set up is?

    • to clarify, i've always mixed analog and recorded thru my outputBANKattack
    • i use Serato SL2 and it's the bomb. i don't rock out in clubs anymore but it's 100% imo.prophetone
