Very happy with my nexus 4.
Incredibly fast, not had a single hiccup.Google handsets are likely to be among the smoothest and get the bugs fixed first. Plus you get stock android.
I'd be tempted by the htc one or the Xperia z, but the Xperia is a bit on the large side and the htc one is twice as much as a nexus 4 for a gorgeous solid aluminium case, but not much more. But all those 3 handsets are ace.
