I have 2 seven yeard old females, just last month one started to act weird and I visited 2 vets one the 1st night at midnight and the 2nd the next day and they did all the blood tests and xrays to discard everything.
Turns out it was more than likely she managed to grab something out of the trash can in our kitchen and was feeling sick. They didn't find anything wrong in the analytics. But man I had a shitty week concerned.
I don't look forward to the day I'll have to say goodbye to these balls of fur :(
