OK, so they say that they didn't change anything with the camera functionality itself, except for adding filters and the 1:1 format for cropping.
But has anyone else noticed how much faster the iphone 5 takes photos now? Maybe it seems faster because they're not doing the thing where the image collapses down into the corner after you've taken it. It just takes it now, and you can barely even tell that you've taken a photo.
I wish I could get the 5s, but I'm not upgrade eligible yet since I have a 5. I'm really excited to see what that new camera is like. the 5 camera is excellent, way better than any iphone lower than that.
- probably because the processor is a solid 2X faster and 64bitmonospaced
- oh... my bad, you're on the 5 ;)monospaced
- Yeah, are you? Did you notice how much quicker the camera feels now?mg33
- I have a 4S and won't upgrade because I don't think it's fast enough to be a good experience.monospaced
- But I guess it's good news that the phone and camera feel faster.monospaced
- I'm working on a mobile photography guide for my EB site. One of my top tips is "upgrade to at least an iphone 5"mg33
