  Everyone is dead.
  Nazis kill Walt's family, when Jesse makes a bargain to cook blue meth on the proviso that the retaliate for 'Jane'
  When everyone is dead he goes nihilistic.
  Decides to say I'll cook one last batch to teach everyone how to do it.
  Walks into the lab, locks the doors commits suicide with ricin taking everyone out with him, after learning his cancer is totally inoperable.

  I think the parable will be only when man is not afraid of death is he free.

  Till now Walt's insanity has been kept in check by his family and his mortality and money. When that goes he goes postal.
