    I'm guessing people who make preorders are the ones waiting for the 5s, not the 5c. The 5c will sell fine along the year but preorders are made by people wanting the latest, and the latest is the 5s, not the 5c. The preorders that that article talks about is about Apple's flagship device, and this year is the first time they released a lower rank model.
    The thing will be different when 5s preorders open.
