whew - well, I think it's easier to redesign a site that's currently terrible, rather than updating a mediocre one.
Write down everything you hate about it and what would make you like it. Then just go for it :)
Words that pop up in my head is.. messy, unorganized, too much text, not enough attention on the actual job posts - in other words, there's a lot of unnecessary shit around, like polls (which can be good though, done well).
I personally get very inspired when I get to re-do stuff I see that I don't like. ..but hey, thats me :)
