so correct me if I'm wrong but BC has value because of the demand for such a currency. there are numerous uses and demands for a decentralized, encrypted digital currency and the infrastructure has been created to utilize it and so it has value attributed. it is not inherent value though.

I was thinking its similar to 'Station Cash' or some virtual currency in video games just way more decentralized. Games require currency so a system is set up to convert real money to SC so that it is usable in game or in someone's account. it has no real value but because it is used in game for virtual items it has value relative to the game itself. BC works in a similar way, it has value because their is a demand created via digital technology and virtual information systems for a currency designed to be used 'in game' or simply within these systems.
